Whenever I have some spare time, my favourite thing to do is bake! Since I get so many requests for recipes, I thought I would share my favourite recipes on my website. I do like to experiment too, so I often do my own variations of these, so feel free to ask me whenever you see my social media food blog. Understand though, (disclaimer here) that I am an amateur baker and this is simply a hobby for me. Bon appetit!

Sourdough Bread w/ Baker’s Percentages

This recipe was inspired by Gemma's Bigger Bolder Baking


  • 1000g Flour

  • 750g Water (75%)

  • 250g Starter (25%)

  • 20g Salt (2%)

  • Olive Oil 

This recipe makes 2 medium sized loaves


  1. Coat bowl w/olive oil

  2. Mix liquids, add flour last

  3. Rest for 12-16 hours

  4. Fold, place parchment in basket and REST for 2 ½ hours or so

  5. Preheat dutch oven 450 degrees

  6. Add loaf and decrease temp to 400 degrees

  7. Bake for 30 minutes, and uncover

  8. Bake for another 30 minutes

Optional: Turn off oven and leave loaf inside to crispen the crust.
